Ards and North Down Local Development Plan 2032
In accordance with Regulation 19 of The Planning (Local Development Plan) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015, Ards and North Down Borough Council hereby gives notice of the availability of all counter representations received to its draft Plan Strategy within the 8-week period (Friday 8 May 2026 and closing on Tuesday 7 July 2026) referred to in regulation 18(2)(a).
Availability of Representations
The representations are published on this website and are available to view and download below from Friday 25 September 2026.
The availability of the counter representations was advertised in local press (Newtownards Chronicle, County Down Spectator and Belfast Gazette) in September 2026:

Please note counter representations are published for inspection only. There is no opportunity to make any further representations at this stage.
A copy shall also be available for public inspection from 25 September between 9am and 5pm Monday to Thursday and between 9am and 4.30pm on Fridays at the Council offices in the following locations:
- 2 Church Street, Newtownards, BT23 4AP; and
- City Hall, The Castle, Bangor, BT20 4BT.
