Recycle Week

Recycle Week 2025 will run from 22 to 28 September, so save the date in your diaries!

We are continuing last year's campaign theme, 'Rescue Me! Recycle'.

Thank you to everyone across the Borough who recycles throughout the year. This Recycle Week we are encouraging everyone to rescue one more thing from the rubbish and recycle it instead.

Items like trigger sprays, aerosols, foil, toilet roll tubes, shampoo bottles, yoghurt pots and perfume bottles are all easy to recycle via your kerbside collections.

During the week, members of our Recycling Team will be at Bloomfield Shopping Centre, Bangor:

Tuesday 23 September | 0930 - 1200
Wednesday 24 September | 0930 - 1200
Thursday 25 September | 0930 - 1200

Recycle Week 2025 - Social Media Competition - General Terms and Conditions

The competition is open to entrants aged 18 years old or over, who reside in the Ards and North Down Borough area, excluding employees of Bin-ovation and Ards and North Down Borough Council ("the Council").
The competition will close on the date specified in the competition social media post.
The prize winner(s) will be chosen by random selection.
The prize winner(s) will be notified within 7 days of the competition closing.
If the prize-winner does not come forward within 7 days, the prize will be forfeited. A new prize winner will then be selected from the remaining entries.
Bin-ovation and the Council will not pass details of entrants to any external company providing the prize (except for winner's details where necessary).
Bin-ovation and the Council may need to send winners details (name, email address and or postal address) to the prize giving company for the sole purpose of prize delivery. By entering the competition, you are giving permission for this.
No purchase is necessary
By entering this competition all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions. All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions.
Losing entries will not receive any notification.
Entries will not be considered as part of this competition if they in any way breach the Council's published social media house rules.
Bin-ovation and the Council have the right to amend or withdraw this competition at any time without notice.
In all cases the decision of Bin-ovation and the Council is final and no correspondence will be entered into. No cash alternative will be offered in whole or in part.
The prize winner(s) may be required to take part in related publicity or other marketing related activity, and such participation is a condition of accepting a prize.
