Recycling commercial waste

From 1 April 2019, the model for the collection and disposal of waste from the Council’s current trade waste customers is changing. This means that general waste will be collected on a fortnightly basis

We collect waste from commercial premises with agreement and at a cost.  The charges relating to the collection and disposal of commercial waste are:

Commercial waste is from premises used wholly or mainly for trade or business or for sport, recreation or entertainment.

To dispose of commercial waste at one of our recycling centres, you must have a waste transfer note for each visit. Contact the council to discuss payment options. Please note that access to HRCs using vans and large trailers is now restricted in accordance with rules set out at: https://www.ardsandnorthdown.gov.uk/resident/bins-and-recycling/using-vans-or-large-trailers   Non-household waste can now only be brought to HRCs in a car.
