Released: Friday 16 January 2026
Looking for help, advice, or support with your career or employment options? Don't miss Ards and North Down Borough Council's Jobs, Support and Training Fair at Bangor Aurora Aquatic and Leisure Complex on Thursday 5 February, from 10am to 2pm. This year's event will also highlight the vast range of roles available in the Health and Social Care sector.
Did you know there are more roles in this sector than you might expect? From Activity Coordinators to Cooks, Kitchen Assistants, Support Workers, and many more. Interested? Come along to the Job Fair to find out more.
This free-to-attend event, delivered by the Labour Market Partnership, will provide practical support and raise awareness of local employment opportunities. A range of support agencies will be available to offer career guidance, interview tips, and advice on identifying the sector that best matches your skills and interests. Local employers will also be available with local jobs on offer. You can also learn about starting your own business and explore training opportunities.
Labour Market Partnerships, funded by the Department for Communities, create targeted employment action plans for council areas and enable collaboration at local and regional levels to help people move towards and into work.
Mayor of Ards and North Down, Councillor Gillian McCollum, said:
"This event is a fantastic opportunity for anyone considering their next career move.
