Sea Bangor (24-25 May) Supports Local Business

The City of Bangor is gearing up for the popular Sea Bangor event on Saturday 24 to Sunday 25 May and Ards and North Down Borough Council is encouraging everyone to grab a 'Sea Bangor Passport' to make the most of their visit and support local business.
A fantastic 14 local traders have special activities and giveaways planned throughout the weekend for visitors to Bangor. Sea Bangor Passports will operate on Saturday 24 May and will guide visitors to participating businesses that have fun activities and giveaways. The Passports can be collected from 12noon on the Saturday (24 May) from the Visitor Information Caravan (at the entrance to the Sea Bangor site), as well as from the participating retailers.
From foodie shops to clothing, gaming, art and more, all participating retailers will have activities or giveaways for those who visit their shops. You can pick up some free sweet treats, colouring in packs, enjoy board games and other fun activities. Get your Passport stamped when you visit.
The Mayor of Ards and North Down, Councillor Alistair Cathcart, said:
"It is wonderful to have the support of so many local businesses for the Sea Bangor Passport during what promises to be a great weekend for everyone. Sea Bangor is always a popular event and attracts many visitors to Bangor. The Passport freebies and giveaways not only add an additional exciting element to Sea Bangor but it also helps to bolster our local traders and support the local economy by encouraging attendees to visit local businesses."
