Covid 19 Recovery Revitalisation Scheme

£1.75M: Funded by the COVID-19 Recovery Revitalisation Programme

The Council was awarded £1.75m to support a range of projects in our city, towns, and villages across the Borough in response to the pandemic.

Projects included:

The Business Adaptation & Improvement Grant Scheme (for measures to create a retail experience that was safe and welcoming while Covid-19 remained a risk)
Cycling infrastructure
Street furniture
Environmental improvement schemes
Provision of Solar Bins
and much more!

The programme was delivered through a joined-up approach between the Department for Communities (DfC), Department for Agriculture, the Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA), the Department for Infrastructure (DfI) and local councils.
