Ards Blair Mayne Wellbeing and Leisure Complex Named UK Finalist in Prestigious APSE Awards

Ards and North Down Borough Council is proud to announce that Ards Blair Mayne Wellbeing and Leisure Complex has been recognised as one of the top-performing leisure facilities in the UK, earning finalist status in the 2025 APSE Performance Networks Awards.

The national recognition is based on verified data for the 2024-25 financial year, measuring excellence in service quality, community engagement, customer satisfaction, and value for money.

Mayor of Ards and North Down, Councillor Gillian McCollum, said:

"Being named a finalist at the APSE Awards is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the dedication, professionalism and passion of our staff.
