Easter Bank Holiday Arrangements

Council Offices are closed for Easter on Monday 6 and Tuesday 7 April, reopening Wednesday 8 April 2026.

Household Recycling Centres will be closed Monday 6 and Tuesday 7 April. If planning a visit to the HRCs after Easter, please remember to book your slot: HRC Booking System - Ards and North Down Borough Council

Household bin collections will take place one day later than your normal collection day.

Ards Blair Mayne Wellbeing and Leisure Complex, Comber Leisure Centre, Portaferry Sports Centre and Londonderry Park will be closed on Easter Sunday and Monday. All centres will open as normal on Tuesday 7 April. See Leisure Ards and North Down

North Down Museum will be open as usual over the Easter weekend including: Easter Sunday: 12noon to 4pm and Easter Monday and Tuesday: 10am - 4pm. For details please visit AND Culture

Coffee Cure at the Museum will also be open each day from 9am - 4pm.

Ards Arts Centre will be closed, reopening on Wednesday 8 April.
