Events and Festivals Fund
ARDS AND NORTH DOWN BOROUGH COUNCIL EVENTS AND FESTIVALS FUND 2023/24
Ards and North Down Borough Council has created a new “Events and Festivals Fund” to replace the Community Festival Fund and Tourism Events Grants.
The Events and Festivals Fund will have 2 Tranches, subject to budget confirmation.
Tranche 1 - open for applications from Monday 9th January 2023 at 12noon and closed on Wednesday 1st February 2023 at 4pm.
Tranche 2 - open for applications from Monday 27 February 2023 at 9am and closes Monday 20 March at 12noon.
Applications are invited for financial assistance to local and neighbourhood events/festivals that meet several criteria including:
Event/Festival | Criteria | Support available |
Local | Attracts up to 500 attendees and participants | Up to £1000 |
Neighbourhood | Attracts between 501 and 1000 attendees and participants | From £1,001 - £4,000 |

Please note, organisations can only make one application annually to the Events and Festivals Fund.
Application forms will be available in different formats upon request and will be available from Monday 9 January 2023 (Tranche 1) and Monday 27 February 2023 (Tranche 2).

This includes the Event Management Guide, the Event Management Plan Template, the Risk Assessment Template and the Council Land Request Form.
