Events and Festivals Fund

ARDS AND NORTH DOWN BOROUGH COUNCIL EVENTS AND FESTIVALS FUND 2023/24

Ards and North Down Borough Council has created a new “Events and Festivals Fund” to replace the Community Festival Fund and Tourism Events Grants.

The Events and Festivals Fund will have 2 Tranches, subject to budget confirmation. Tranche 1 will open for applications from MONDAY 9th JANUARY 2023 at 12noon and close on WEDNESDAY 1st FEBRUARY 2023 at 4pm.

Applications are invited for financial assistance to medium and large events/festivals that meet several criteria including:

Event/Festival  Criteria  Support available
Medium Attracts a minimum of 1,001 attendees and participants From £4,001 - £10,000 
Large Attracts a minimum of 2,000 attendees and participants From £10,001 - £20,000

Tranche 2, for Local and Neighbourhood Events/Festivals, will open in February 2023. Please note, organisations can only make one application annually to the Events and Festivals Fund.

Application forms will be available in different formats upon request and will be available from Monday 9 January 2023
