Building Control Service delivery during the Covid–19 pandemic

Applications 

Building Control applications are still being received, processed, and assessed. Building Notice and Regularisation applications can be made online via https://council.direct/ or by email to buildingcontrol@ardsandnorthdown.gov.uk  using card payments, or by post to Ards and North Down Borough Council, Town Hall, The Castle, Bangor, BT20 4BT, using cheque payments. 

Full Plan applications can only be made by post with payments by cheque or by bank transfer. Hard copy applications should be made by post. 

Site inspections are available for virtually all jobs, subject to any current Covid restrictions. 

It is important that you contact the office as normal to request all inspections.  Please request inspections in good time, and before 10.30am at the latest on the day an inspection is required.
