Borough Magazine Winter 2019

Welcome to the winter edition of the Borough Magazine, which provides an update on Council’s activities over the past few months and information about future developments.

Thanks to the savings achieved by the fantastic recycling efforts of local residents, we have been able to grow our Recycling Community Investment Fund (RCIF). This fund enables us to continue to develop and support a wide range of community projects that are helping to make Ards and North Down a more sustainable Borough. Find out more on pages 16-17.

We want to make life better for all the people who live in the Borough, so we have detailed some of the ways in which you can get involved in YOUR local community on page 6.

It wouldn’t be Christmas without a range of festive activities and events across the Borough and this year is no different. You can view our full What’s On list on pages 10-11.
