If your bin hasn't been picked up on its scheduled day, it could be because:

  • it wasn't left out on time.  As collection times can vary, we always recommend that you leave your bin out by 7.00am and keep it out until 8.00pm to make sure it is picked up
  • you've put the wrong materials in one or more of your bins.  To check you're using the right bin for your waste or recycling materials, see Which bin should I use? page
  • your collection is on a bank or public holiday when our collection times are different
  • the bin lorry has broken down
  • your bin was too heavy to lift
  • bad weather stopped us collecting your bin
  • bin is damaged making it unsafe to collect

If you wish to report a missed bin collection or other problem with your bin, complete the form below.  You must complete fields marked *.
