Kircubbin Recycling Centre

Kircubbin and Portaferry Household Recycling Centre are going to be closed/disrupted for essential work on THURSDAY 31st October. We apologise for any inconvenience.  It is likely that Portaferry will be closed in the morning and Kircubbin in the afternoon.

The two sites will not be closed at the same time: please keep this in mind if you are planning a trip to one of these HRCs.  We aim to minimise the length of time required for these closures and the sites will reopen as soon as possible.

Household Recycling Centres at Balloo, Ballygowan, Comber, Donaghadee, Holywood, Kircubbin, Millisle, Newtownards and Portaferry are closed on Bank/Public holidays.

Periods following Bank/Public holidays are likely to be busier than normal, therefore delays can be expected.

Please note that from March 2019 walk-ins are NOT permitted at any of the HRCs with the exception of Holywood HRC (via separate pedestrian access gate). This is for health and safety reasons. Thank you for your understanding.
