New Mayor and Deputy Mayor take up their roles
Ards and North Down Borough Council Annual Meeting held and new Mayor appointed.
At today’s Annual Meeting, Councillor Karen Douglas was appointed as the new Mayor of Ards and North Down. Councillor Craig Blaney was appointed to the post of Deputy Mayor.
The Mayor and Deputy Mayor were appointed at a livestreamed Annual Meeting in the Town Hall Bangor, with a small number of party representatives and staff members present in the chamber.
