Local Children enjoy Good Relations at Football Skills course
A six-week programme between Ards and North Down Borough Council’s Good Relations team and Ards and North Down Football Development was successfully delivered at Ards Blair Mayne Wellbeing and Leisure Complex.

Throughout January and February, children aged 5 to 11-years-old attended the football skills course, giving them an opportunity to learn new skills and understand the meaning of ‘good relations’ both on and off the pitch, while socialising with others from across the community.
Good Relations workshops were facilitated by PeacePlayersNI. The Mayor of Ards and North Down, Councillor Karen Douglas, visited the children to celebrate the end of what was a successful programme.
