Hargey Announces Thousands to Benefit from Food Parcels Service

New weekly service to begin which will see 10,000 food boxes being delivered to the most vulnerable in society during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Department for Communities Minister Deirdre Hargey MLA has announced that in the coming days a new weekly service will begin which will see 10,000 food boxes being delivered to the most vulnerable in society during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Ards and North Down Borough Council is supporting this initiative in our borough to ensure that this vital service will reach those most in need, making sure they will have access to basic food supplies.

The freephone COVID-19 Community Helpline provides help to those in vulnerable groups to access information, advice and guidance in relation to COVID-19.
