The grading scheme offers tourism operators a chance to be awarded with ratings that indicate the level of quality a visitor can expect.
Thanks to the range of excellent experiences on offer, Portaferry Visitor Information Centre maintained its high four-star rating after a recent inspection.
Mayor of Ards and North Down, Alderman Bill Keery, said: “Portaferry is situated on a beautiful part of the Ards Peninsula and is one of the many areas in our borough which is a great place to visit.”
