Comber Leisure Centre Car Park: Minor Environmental Improvement Scheme
Update 3.3.23: A phased closure of Comber Leisure Centre Car Park will be in place from Wednesday 8 to Friday 17 March to allow completion of works.

A minor environmental improvement scheme will commence in January 2023 for a period of 10 weeks, at the car park located adjacent to Comber Leisure Centre. The scheme will include resurfacing, upgraded streetlighting, and an improved layout to ensure safer pedestrian and vehicle movement.
The scheme will be funded via the Department for Communities and Department for Infrastructure Covid-19 Revitalisation Recovery Funding Programme, with contribution from Ards and North Down Borough Council.

- DURATION: 10 weeks
- COMPLETION: Monday 27 March 2023
Sectional closure of the car park will be required to facilitate this scheme. The map below shows the Phase 1 (Green) and Phase 2 (Purple) Parking Areas. Please note, it may be necessary to completely close the car park towards the completion of works but every effort will be made to minimise disruption.
