Bangor included in The King’s Christmas Broadcast

It was a wonderful surprise on Christmas Day to see the new City of Bangor feature not once but twice in The King’s Christmas Broadcast.

NCLT will continue to run Council leisure services in Holywood and Bangor after April 2023

At the Council meeting on 21 December, Elected Members agreed that the Northern Community Leisure Trust (NCLT) will continue to deliver the management of leisure services that it presently delivers in Ards and North Down for a further 5-year period, until 31 March 2028.

Chatty Benches Bring People Together in Ards and North Down

​ Ards and North Down Borough Council is increasing the number of Chatty Benches in the Borough with four new benches installed at Green Flag sites, helping to support mental health and bring people together.
