Pickie Fun Park Business Opportunity

Ards and North Down Borough Council is seeking to engage with established visitor attractions and theme park operators to gauge the level of market interest in the opportunity to develop, manage, and operate Pickie Funpark.

Pickie Funpark is a family fun park and visitor attraction located close to the marina and the centre of the City of Bangor, Northern Ireland and is in the top ten attractions in Northern Ireland. We are keen to better understand how an operator could work collaboratively with the Council to develop and update Pickie Funpark in line with the Council’s objectives. Then, over the life of the agreement, continue to develop Pickie Funpark and enhance its future contributions as a key family attraction within Northern Ireland.

Through this market engagement exercise, we are inviting views and expressions of interest from any organisations interested in developing and operating Pickie Funpark for people who live in and visit the area.

This exercise is intended to not only assess the level of interest from potential operators; but also, to attract innovative solutions for the development and management of the facility and services in order to shape and inform the procurement process.
