Social Media Fresh Pod Competition - Terms and Conditions

  1. The competition is open to entrants aged 18 years old or over, who reside in the Ards and North Down Borough area, excluding employees of Ards and North Down Borough Council. 
  2. The competition will close on the date specified in the competition social media post. 
  3. The prize winner(s) will be chosen by random selection. 
  4. The prize winner(s) will be notified within 24 hours of the competition closing. 
  5. If the prize-winner does not come forward within 7 days, the prize will be forfeited.  A new prize winner will then be selected by random selection from the remaining entries. 
  6. The Council will not pass details of entrants to any external company providing the prize (except for winner’s details where necessary; see point 8). 
  7. The Council may need to send winners details (name, email address and or postal address) to the prize giving company for the sole purpose of prize delivery. By entering the competition, you are giving permission for this.   
  8. No purchase is necessary 
  9. By entering this competition all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions. All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions. 
  10. Losing entries will not receive any notification. 
  11. Entries will not be considered as part of this competition if they in any way breach the Council's published social media house rules.   
  12. The Council has the right to amend or withdraw this competition at any time without notice. 
  13. In all cases the decision of the Council is final and no correspondence will be entered into. No cash alternative will be offered in whole or in part. 
  14. The prize winner(s) may be required to take part in related publicity or other marketing related activity, and such participation is a condition of accepting a prize. 
  15. The Council accepts no liability or responsibility for entries lost, delayed or undelivered, nor any liability for technical errors or communication failures in networks and/or internet access.
