Standing for Election

Candidates are required to use the Electoral Register dated 3 April 2023 for their district electoral area.  The Nomination pack includes a form (Form 4 - Electoral Register/AV list request) that can be used to request the Register in either paper or data format.

The Register must be collected from the Deputy Returning Officer as it contains personal data.  Candidates will need to obtain a copy of the Register prior to nominations in order to be able to provide the electoral numbers of subscribers on the nomination paper.  Candidates, who are not sitting Councillors, should note that the Register is not available until after publication of the Notice of Election on 11 April 2023.
