Bangor Waterfront Information Sessions

A series of Information Sessions are underway to keep Bangor residents updated on the project, key stages and timelines of the Bangor Waterfront Redevelopment.

Hosted by Council Officers, these sessions will provide information on the overall project, focus on specific areas along the 2-mile route as well as answering questions and dispelling any myths that surround the development.

The first meeting was held on Tuesday 25 July 7pm- 9pm for Ballyholme Residents at St Columbanus Parish Church Hall, Ballyholme.  Following this, a Bangor-wide session was held on Tuesday 29 August 7-9pm in SPACE. The next session open to all Bangor residents and anyone interested in learning more about the Redevelopment will take place on:

  • Tuesday 10 October 7-9pm

This session will also take at SPACE, Castle Park Rd, Bangor BT20 4D

Pre-registration to attend this event is required.

Please email your details and number of attendees to bangorwaterfront@ardsandnorthdown.gov.uk

These sessions aim to ensure as many Bangor residents and businesses as possible are informed, and to give everyone an opportunity to attend meetings and learn more about the redevelopment and ask their questions.

These are just the beginning of a long process of communications and engagement to be rolled out over the next few years which will involve all Bangor residents, businesses, and stakeholders.
