Swimming and health suite
Adults and children can enjoy swimming at Ards Leisure Centre. There are two pools and a paddling pool:
- The 25 metre gala pool accommodates public, adult only and aqua run sessions as well as lessons, classes and club bookings.
- The 21 metre minor pool has a depth of 3ft throughout making it perfect for lessons or children's pool parties.
- The paddling pool is perfect for children aged six months to seven years old. It has a depth of 18 inches with a host of water toys for children to play with. Parents can sit around the pool to watch and roll up their trousers should they need to go into the water. The paddling pool is separate from the main pools making it a quiet place to spend time. The paddling pool may be booked for parties and groups visits and as such it is always best to check the weekly paddling pool availability download below before a visit. Telephone the centre on 028 9181 2837 for more information.
